An Igbo Efulefu is a man who does not know his identity or who is ashamed of his identity. For instance, your names are Okeke, Okafor, Okorie, Okonkwo, Nwoke, Nwafor, Nwankwo, Nworie, Mgbeke, Mgbankwo, Mgbafor, Okorafor, Okoronkwo, Okereke, Okoye, Amaechi, Odili, Okoro, Okechukwu, Ogochukwu, Ugochukwu, Olisa, Olisah, Oliseh.........but you say you are not Igbo that you are from the South-South or from the Niger-Delta, you are an efulefu. Sunday Oliseh is an efulefu because neither Niger-Delta nor South-South is African.
Please, which other tribe on this planet apart from the Igbo tribe has four market days of Orie, Afor, Nkwo and Eke?
2. If you prefer names imposed on you by your white slave masters to your original names, YOU ARE AN EFULEFU.
What was your identity before the arrival of the white men? That, is your true identity which you should be proud of.
3. On another level, an Efulefu is a man who works against the interests of his own people (aka saboteur) or a man who prefers to pitch his tent with the enemies of his own people. Joe Igbokwe my brother from Nnewi is an efulefu.
All "my mama say I be Igbo", are efulefus. These are people who don't know the way to their Igbo villages.

If (as an Igbo man) after watching Amnesty International's video showing where Buhari ordered the execution of innocent Igbo men and women praying on a secondary school field, and you still support Buhari and Northern brutality against your own flesh and blood, you are not only an efulefu but have innocent people’s blood on your hands.
