Read World's Famous Musician Protest Letter to British Queen in Support for Biafra

This letter was sent to British Queen in 1965 by World's famous musician John Lennon in protest against British support of Zoo's (Nigeria) genocidal war against freedom loving Biafra. About 65% of the weapons used for the War was supplied by the British free of charge

Lennon, along with the other members of his band, was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in Queen Elizabeth's 1965 birthday honours and initially accepted, but his conscience forced him to returned it in 1969.

Yesterday the letter was auction for £60,000 in Britain
