IPOB: Biafra Not Negotiable; Release Nnamdi Kanu Unconditionally

The statement by the federal government of Nigeria that Nnamdi Kanu will get freedom if he renounces Biafra, slated to be the terms of agreement reached with MEND on their said peace talk, shows how uninformed and incomprehensive of facts and details the Muhammadu Buhari led administration is. IPOB through our director have made it clear on several notes that the restoration of Biafra is not negotiable. Nnamdi Kanu have gone to the extent of declaring his willingness to sacrifice his life for this course if need be. With these, any intellectually sound government would know not to ask for the renunciation of Biafra. Nnamdi Kanu is being held against his human right, he is permitted by law to ask for freedom for his people; a right to self-determination for all people as contained in the UN charter. The Nigerian government is violating his human right by holding him captive and the only way to remedy the situation to a manageable extent is to free him without attaching conditions. The truth remains, no such conditions would be adhered to, as our fight for self-determination cannot be quenched by or for any known reason. Motivated by the prolonged incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian government, we are determined to stop at nothing in restoring Biafra and the earlier the Nigerian government understands this, the better for them. To the Nigerian government we say; release Nnamdi Kanu, for by releasing him you would be adhering to the UN charter which you have for long violated. Release him, for by releasing him you would be putting an end to the violation of his human right. By releasing him you would have listened to the many prominent voices all over the world calling for his release. But know not to attach any condition to his release because the restoration of Biafra is not a stoppable quest.
