If the Yoruba were to be neutral and neither the Hausa/Fulani nor the Ibo controls the Presidency of Nigeria, the Ibo will easily defeat the Hausa/Fulani in any warfare. Buhari's alleged comment today that the Hausa/Fulani killed 2 million Ibo during the Biafra war is a mistaken assertion. The Yoruba helped defeat the Ibo.
The EU referendum in Britain is historic in the sense that Buhari and the political leadership in Nigeria must embrace the idea of referendum rather than the use of armed struggle.
The Ibo, as Biafrans, have the right to demand for a Sovereign State of Biafra. The Nigerian State has no such right to deny them this right.
Blood will continue to flow in Nigeria until such a time simple thing like a referendum is the norm.
